Utilities

The City of Richland Springs serves its residents with water, sewer and garbage services.

Water is served by one well located downtown. The city houses two water tanks that hold 50,000 gallons each for storage. The city has 14 miles of water lines in the city. The city is currently working with a grant with USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) to replace the water lines. Water lines in the city have been here since 1930's.
Drought Restrictions

Sewer is collected at our sewer plant that is located north of town.

Garbage is picked up each Wednesday morning and taken to a landfill. The city rents dumpsters for $75. The city owns two garbage trucks that are rotated to keeping working and maintained.
